I can’t believe I haven’t posted our SuperBowl Feast – the main course, of course, was pizza, but we had lots of nibbles too.
Frozen ready-made boneless chicken wings in Bourbon BBQ flavor – these weren’t bad and were actual chicken chunks vs. processed chicken nuggets.
My son and his girlfriend made these pepperoni pizza puffs. I don’t think this is the exact recipe but close enough. These were delicious – hot, cheesy bites.
Sauteed kielbasa with a combination of grainy & hot mustard sauce
The necessary veggies & dip so the meal doesn’t look ridiculously Unhealthy
My Heart had, as usual, Pizza Duty. Again this year, we used Trader Joe’s pizza dough

The favorite: Apple, bacon, and brie (there is some shredded mozzarella on the bottom as a base)

This was the Experiment pizza – I didn’t think that the kids would like it but I was totally WRONG.. it was a huge hit. Ready-made cheddar bacon cheese spread, lump crab meat, bacon, shredded cheddar, and a sprinkling of Old Bay seasoning. The pizza was very reminiscent of a local favorite, the Crab Pretzel: a large soft pretzel that is covered in creamy crab dip and then set under a broiler to get warm and bubbly.
Deli roast beef, caramelized onions, shredded cheddar and Stilton cheese
We definitely had a few pints (there were FOUR of us!)

Dessert: A delicious fluffy parfait made with chocolate dipped almond biscotti, soaked in Amaretto and topped with Amaretto whipped cream.

And, of course, a little something to celebrate the Ravens WIN !
