I sorta took this recipe from the back of the Stovetop Stuffing box but I totally “messed” with it.
Two pork chops, coated in Italian seasoning, browned in a drizzle of olive oil at a high heat then dropped the temp to med-high and cooked for approximately 5-minutes on each side until cooked through. After 3 minutes, added chopped onion and red pepper to the pan and saut??ed with the chops.
Removed the pork chops
Added 1 3/4 c water and brought to a boil
Then added in a regular sized box of Pork-flavored Stovetop Stuffing and stirred until completely moistened – returned the pork chops to the pan, dropped the temp to low heat and let simmer about 10 minutes. As the chops were cooking, steamed some fresh yellow squash and also made 1/2c of Onion-flavored BISTO
Nice hearty weeknight dinner – YUM
