Mom’s Day: Korean Feast & Adult S’mores

Mom’s Day and the kids treated – First Lunch: Hummus Corner  – a favorite and the Best hummus I’ve ever tasted!

My Heart had the Beef Shawarma wrap which includes thin slices of marinated beef strips, tomato, parsley, onions and tahini sauce

My daughter had the Appetizer Combo – Hummus, Mediterranean snack rolls, falafels, Lebanese salad, and Tahini sauce

AND… Had to have the dip sampler with Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, carrots, cucumbers, and pickled turnip

Now for dinner!  My son’s girlfriend, Shannon,  and my son cooked up my favorite Korean feast including chap chae, which has glass noodles so it is gluten-free and lots of vegetables..

I Love this soup: Sundubu Jjigae – YUM!

Fresh Kim Chee – traditionally kim chee is aged and fermented but it can also be made Fresh and this was the FIRST Time that Shannon ever made this (and the Chap Chae) – it was delicious!
