Menu 12 – Week of March 20, 2011 – Recap & Notes
I am not doing the Recap because there just wasn’t much to recap! I’m excited to be getting back to Normal and Cooking – well.. until the end of the week. *smile*
Menu 13 – Week of March 27, 2011
Sunday Roast – This is great. Pork Loin was on sale so the menu was stuffed pork loin, mashed potatoes, & asparagus. This all changed at lunch when my Heart re-thought the plan. Watch for the Pork Loin blog soon to follow… it was delicious.
Fish Monday – Thai Tilapia with baby Bok Choy in Garlic Sauce – Tilapia is on sale but I wanted to do something different. I received a couple rubs from Pampered Chef so I am going to try one on the fish. When the kids and I were at the Asian market in Fairfax, VA last Sunday I bought some baby bok choy, which I love. I am making Chinese garlic sauce from scratch
Tuesday – Flank steak is on sale and I have two meals planned – marinated flank steak, roasted potatoes, mushrooms, & broccoli is meal one
Wednesday – (Late Meeting) My Heart is planning pizza… sure to be an adventure!
Thursday – (Student vs. Faculty Basketball game) Flank steak burritos is meal two with the leftover flank steak from Tuesday
