Korean Lettuce Wrap (basic)
This was supposed to be one of our courses on New Year’s Eve but we were full. This is a very basic version – I bought the marinated beef at the Asian market and my son’s girlfriend made the Ssamjang sauce for us.
Side dishes: one of my favorite pickles: Shibazuke (pickled eggplant)
and Seaweed Salad
Wraps: Leaf lettuce, short-grained Asian rice, marinated beef and Ssamjang – very simple but delicious and satisfying! YUM!
