Birthday & Anniversary Dinner

We went to the Iron Bridge Wine Company to celebrate our 4th Anniversary and my Heart’s birthday – I remembered to take pictures of most things but everything was delicious so… well, you’ll see!Img_4463

Started with a lovely bottle of Prosecco – also had a bottle of Pinot Noir but totally forgot to take a picture.

Starter – my Heart had the Tuna Tartar (nope – no pic) and I had the House Made Charcuterie plate which included Speck Ham, Chicken Liver Rillette, Pork Pate, pickled vegetables and toasted baguette.  I obviously snarfed everything down but did manage to remember to take a picture of some of the remains,,, the Chicken Liver Rillette and the Pork Pate – It was all wonderful

My Heart’s dinner: Filet topped with a lobster butter, potato puree and haricots verts

My entree: Sirloin topped with garlic butter, garlic potato puree, and spinach


My Heart’s lovely Pecan Tart topped with vanilla bean ice cream and a Birthday Candle


Delicious creme brulle


… and at the bottom of the creme brulle was a layer of chocolate ganache – really amazing.  It was a lovely dinner – a great way to celebrate!
