2012 Menu 10: Mar 3 – Mar 10


HAD to start this blog with a picture of this dessert because it was so yummy.  This is actually the leftover version but still equally YUMMY!


Sunday Roast March 3 – One of my favorites: Chicken with Emmental Cheese – I love this dinner??? totally my Heart’s creation!


???and to add deliciousness – this amazing stacked dessert: Strawberry Decadence


Fish Monday, March 4 – Jerk Salmon with Salsa Rice & grilled pineapple – this turned out exactly the way that I wanted.. the whole meal. I Love it when that happens!


Tuesday, March 5 – my Heart’s amazing creation for dinner after my very long day and late meeting – Waffle stack with tomato, red pepper, salami, spinach, and eggs with a drizzle of balsamic.  Not easy to eat but delicious.


Wednesday, March 6 – I really love using my CrockPot and knowing that dinner is basically done when I get home.  This recipe was really different from other Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff recipes but it was wonderful and totally a “do again”


Thursday, March 7 – My Thursday night meeting went long and I really needed a drink??? Don Pablos was calling to me and my Heart never turns down Mexican – their Cantina Nachos (with chicken) are yummy and a fairly good deal at about $8 and combined with another small appetizer is more than enough for two!


Friday, March 8 started with drink creations by my Heart – The first one: Vodka, Cassis??? good but not quite there.  The second one: Vodka, Cassis, Grand Marnier – PERFECT!  Oh??? And the Third one!  


Nothing fancy for dinner: Mabo Tofu served with Asian white rice and…


??? gyoza .. one of my favorite go-to dinners and I am lucky my Heart likes it too!


Saturday, March 10 – Sadly, skiing is done for the season and this was our first Saturday since December to just enjoy a quiet day in – We finally went out to a movie: Safe House and then came home??? this was perfect because it is quick and very satisfying: Crab Spinach Benedict – YUM!
